The awards ceremony for Tickmill’s Forecasting Challenge, took place on Wednesday 9th of March 2022, at University of Cyprus’ Learning Resource Center “Stelios Ioannou”.
Participation in Tickmill’s forecasting competition was open to all university students in Cyprus and the aim was to predict a financial time series based on a number of features supplied by the company.
The competition ran from November 2021 to the end of January 2022 and attracted 11 teams.
A number of students of our program participated in the challenge, including the first and third place winners “Team 7” and “Larnakeis”, respectively.
We congratulate the winners and all the participants for their effort!
Tickmill is a trading service company. It was founded in 2014 and has offices in Cyprus, London and Estonia. It currently employs around 250 people around the world. Its main aim is the development of products for its customers which optimally use the available data.
